When you create an account, this edition's account service stores your player name, a secure password hash and your game save. Account and save data are not used for advertising or sent to visit analytics. Guest play does not create a cloud save.
Friends and leaderboard: your Nickname is public to other players. We store your friends list, whether you're online and your best times (with your nickname and your Pokémon).
Group games are transmitted through the room server. Your IP address is not shared with other players.
You can delete your account whenever you want (your nickname, friends and records are deleted too):
If you allow visit analytics, Google Analytics records page visits and Play clicks using browser identifiers and basic device and connection information. We never send your player ID, nickname, password, friends list or game save. Refusing does not affect play. You can withdraw consent in Analytics settings. Your choice is saved in this browser.
